Radhika Larsen: An idea for Denmark

Radhika Larsen is a consultant based in Denmark and member of the executive committee of the association Indians in Denmark (www.indiansindenmark.com).

“Indians travel through the cinema,” Radhika Larsen says, and suggests that the Danes put more energy and emphasis into inviting Indian film production teams to shoot their movies with Danish scenery in the background – places such as Bornholm, Svendborg, Silkeborg and North Jutland.

Swizz and Spain has succeeded in increasing tourism from India in this way, and Radhika Larsen sees a potential there for Denmark just as well. But… it would require that the Danes improved possibilities for ‘location hunting’ for the Indian film industry workers, including assisting them with getting permissions and finding the right people to link up with.
